Dr. Sha Hua receives The Alexander Hessel Award for the Best Ph.D Dissertation in Electrical Engineering for 2013

The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Graduate Committee has awarded Dr. Sha Hua the Alexander Hessel Award for the Best Ph.D. Dissertation in Electrical Engineering for his thesis titled “Exploiting the Benefits of Cooperation in Wireless Networks”. The Award carries a plaque and a cash prize of $1500.00.  Dr. Sha Hua was also a recipient of prestigious CATT Research Fellowship.

The Alexander Hessel Award is named after Dr. Alexander Hessel, who was a Professor Emeritus at Polytechnic University and was a recognized authority on phased-array antennas and other areas of electromagnetics.
